AC German Hangers

A German hanger is an aluminium-framed structure with no internal columns, which means the floor plan is entirely yours: no pillar lands in the middle of a seating block or between the audience and the stage. The AC version adds insulated walling and ducted cooling distributed along the length of the roof, so the interior holds temperature through an afternoon session.

The roof frame is rated to take rigging, so lighting truss, line array and LED walls hang from the structure itself rather than needing separate ground support inside the room. That keeps sightlines clean and the floor clear.

What is an AC German hanger?

An AC German hanger is a clear-span hanger with the air conditioning built into the structure. Insulated walling and ducted cooling distributed along the roof mean the interior holds its temperature through an afternoon session rather than depending on the weather outside.

How is the structure cooled?

Cooling is ducted along the length of the roof and distributed across the floor, rather than blown in from one end. Combined with insulated walling, that is what keeps a full room comfortable in a Pune summer instead of cool at the front and warm at the back.

Can AV be rigged from the roof of an AC hanger?

Yes. The roof frame is rated to take rigging, so lighting truss, line array and LED walls hang from the structure itself instead of needing separate ground support inside the room. Sightlines stay clean and the floor stays clear.

When is an AC hanger worth it over a standard hanger?

Whenever guests will be seated for a long stretch in hot weather. A conference, a dealer meet or a summer reception asks people to stay in one room for hours, and that is the point at which climate control stops being a luxury.
